The Nosara Community for the Arts (NOCA) exists to promote cross-cultural collaborations, creativity and environmental awareness for the people of Nosara through multi-disciplinary art programs and experiences.

Cultural Exchange & Community Engagement
Social and cultural exchange is key to achieving balance in a place such as Nosara which is experiencing unprecedented growth in both tourism and population with people coming from all corners of the world. Our programs must be designed to promote such intellectual and creative exchange of ideas.
Creative Thinking Through Multi-Disciplinary Arts
Poetry, dance, music, visual arts, architecture, public and environmental art, NOCA is about people creating, together, through whatever artistic channels they wish to express themselves.
Environmental Awareness & Stewardship
We believe that in order to fully achieve social and community balance, there needs to be a recognition of the critical importance of the health of our natural environment. Nosara and its coast is one the richest yet fragile region in Costa Rica. Balancing the forces at play will be key to ensure a sustainable and healthy future.
